IN-HOUSE TRAINING

Have a group to train? Have specific training needs?
This course can be customised and delivered in-house.

When an incident escalates and a coordination centre is stood up, the pressure on Function Leads, Response Managers, and Controllers is immediate. There's no time to figure out how things should work - you need to already know.
The Managing in a Co-ordination Centre course gives you the practical skills to hit the ground running: establishing an effective centre, managing information flows, maintaining oversight of planning, and keeping your IMT performing at its best. You'll also work through the less glamorous but critical elements of emergency management: stakeholder communication, record-keeping, and planned demobilisation. The course also addresses the human factors that so often determine whether a co-ordination centre thrives or fractures under pressure, because in a high-stress, fast-moving response, how people function matters as much as what they know.
