The impact of the COVID crisis has been felt by the RRANZ programme, with some 2020 and 2021 Tier 1 part 1 and 2 courses being cancelled or postponed. Despite these issues, three cohorts of Tier 1 Part 1 online learners have been delivered in this period, with a fourth underway now. At least one more Part 1 and two more Part 2 courses, in Auckland in August and Wellington in November, are planned for 2021. RPL Transition courses are planned for delivery concurrent with the full Part 2 courses.
Feedback from participants has been excellent, and the influence of the RRLDP on the COVID response leadership is palpable in response reviews and research. We are continually enhancing the programme, including progressively adding iwi and Māori content.
